Wine & Cheese Tasting: Wines That Pair with Cow's Milk Cheeses | 6:30 p.m. | $40

We are pleased to release the 2012 schedule of our famous Wine & Cheese Tastings. The pairings, held in our Wine Department on Thursdays twelve times a year, feature six wines, six cheeses and six hors d'oeuvres to complement. Each tasting is $40. Due to space constraints, we now request a credit card number with your reservation, and require 48 advance notice for any cancellations. You can make your reservations by calling 614.846.3220.

Ladies' Night In: Wine & Pedicures | Multiple Seatings | $65

Pamper yourself - or your special someone - as The Hills Market joins forces with Rejuvenate Nail Spa for a Ladies' Night In. Enjoy six of our favorite wines while the team at Rejuvenate Nail Spa give your feet a makeover. Reservations are required for this relaxing evening, so call Rejuvenate Nail Spa today at 614.785.0522. The event is $65 per person, and includes a pedicure, gratuity, wine and snacks. Guests will pay and pick up a wine glass at The Hills Market and then head to Rejuvenate Nail Spa for the festivities.

Oscar Dinner | 6:30 p.m. | $45

 You are invited to attend The Hills Market Oscar Dinner on Saturday, February 25th at 6.30 p.m. This dinner, served in our Wine Department, is a compilation of courses inspired by all nine 2011 Oscar Nominees for Best Picture. The five-course and four-wine meal is $45 per person. The event includes a lively panel discussion, a hands-on activity involving food sculptures and chances to win theatrical prizes.

The evening will feature three film critics from WCBE 90.5 FM: John DeSando, co-host for "It's Movie Time" and "Cinema Classics", Johnny DiLoretto, co-host for "Cinema Classics" and entertainment reporter at Fox 28 TV, and Kristin Dreyer Kramer, co-host for "It's Movie Time" and editor-in-chief of NightsAndWeekends.com.

Cooking Class: Angie Theado of The Coop | 6:30 p.m. | $35

Join us on Tuesday, February 28th at 6:30 p.m. as Angie Theado of The Coop Food Truck presents three favorites from the Clintonville-based truck. Participants will start out in the kitchen for a one-hour demo. Afterwards, we'll serve a three course meal (complete with wine pairings) in the Wine Department. The class is $35 and includes food and wine pairings. Reservations required. 614.846.3220.

• Duck Livers paired with a Winter Salad
• Seared Duck Breast with Shiitakes, Baby Bok Choy, Udon Noodles and Fried Duck Egg with a Mushroom Broth
• Ginger-Poached Pear with a Lemongrass-Orange Duck Egg Zabaglione with Caramelised Duck Skin.

• Vegetable Napoleon: Grilled zuchinni and Eggplant layered with Oven-Roasted Roma Tomatoes and Warm Goat Cheese with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sicilian Style Sweet and Sour Drizzle
• Luce Bolognese: Hand-Cut Maltagliate Pasta tossed with a Country-Style Meat Sauce of Wild Boar, Beef Short Rib and San Marzano Tomatoes.
